Travel Buddy is an AI chat assistant provided by Basil Leaf Chronicles. This page explains what happens to the information you share when you use it.

What we collect

When you send a message to Travel Buddy, the text of that message is sent to our server and forwarded to our AI provider to generate a reply. If you use voice input, your speech is converted to text by your browser before it ever reaches us — audio is not recorded or stored by Travel Buddy. If you use voice replies, your browser reads the response aloud locally; that audio is not sent anywhere.

What we don't do

We do not require an account, do not ask for payment information, and do not knowingly collect names, emails, or other identifying details through the chat — please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in your messages.

How long messages are kept

Conversation text may be temporarily processed to generate a response and may be retained briefly for abuse prevention and service reliability. We do not sell your messages or use them for advertising.

Third parties

Travel Buddy uses a third-party AI service to generate replies. That provider processes message text under its own data-handling terms in order to return an answer to you.
